This is the moment a gang of masked hitmen in El-Chapo’s former stomping ground shoot huge automatic rifles off a balcony in Mexico.
The incident was reportedly recorded in the city of Culiacan, in the northwestern Mexican state of Sinaloa, and shared on social media.
In the video, a pair of men in balaclavas and Navy vests can be seen standing on a balcony in what appears to be a rural area.
The men fire huge automatic rifles off the balcony as music can be heard in the background.
Local media report the men are hitmen belonging to a criminal gang but the name of the gang has not been revealed in reports.
Reports state that on the same morning as the video there were shootings registered in two different areas of the city. The first one took place in the Las Arboledas Colony and the police were mobilised. The shooting reportedly saw material damage caused.
The second one took place in the Las Quintas colony. No injuries were reported in either shooting.
It is unclear if the authorities are investigating the video or if any arrests have been made in the shootings.
