This is the bizarre moment Diego Maradona shows off his flexibility by stretching his leg through the window of a brand new muscle car he has been gifted by the Mexican club he manages.

The Argentinian legend has guided his side Dorados de Sinaloa to the final of the second-tier Ascenso MX and has been gifted a new Chevrolet Camaro RS V6 by the club as a show of thanks.

In the video, Maradona can be seen sat in the driver’s seat of the American muscle car and he can be heard saying: “That is colour, man. I love it.”

The former Barcelona forward then gets out of the car to admire it before showing off his flexibility by lifting his right leg up through the open window and stretching.

Local media report the club spent 778,200 MXN (30,123 GBP) on the Chevrolet for Maradona as a show of appreciation for his stellar work.

The 58-year-old has won eight of his 13 matches since taking over Dorados and will now face Atletico San Luis in the first leg of the Ascenso MX final tomorrow.

The side were two places off the bottom of the table when Maradona took over before his first match against Cafetaleros de Tapachula.

Netizens loved the bizarre video, with ‘fedezappa’ commenting: “I love it. He almost didn’t know how to open the door.”

And ‘madarfacu’ added: “And I’m happy when I wash my Fiat Tempra haha.”
