Diego Maradona has been snapped behind the wheel of his team’s coach apparently taking them to their hotel before a match.

The Argentine icon was pictured in the driver’s seat apparently taking the team bus to their hotel before their clash with Tampico Madero.

In the photo, Maradona can be seen at the wheel while wearing a pair of large headphones.

Fans and photographers can be seen standing in front of the vehicle taking snaps of the driver.

The team posted the photo online with the caption: “We arrive to Tampico with a luxury driver.”

It is not known if Maradona drove the bus the entire way to the team hotel or if he was just posing for pictures in the driver’s seat.

The former Barcelona man’s side won the match 3-2 and currently sit in fourth place in the Ascenso MX.

Netizen ‘cauchas’ commented: “You guys are kamikazes!”

And Tono added: “Wasn’t anyone injured?”

While ‘pablo’ added: “It’s a good job you weren’t stopped by any police controls.”

Dorados de Sinaloa have two matches left in the regular season before the number the playoffs begin. The top eight sides qualify for the playoffs.

It is unclear if the team were on the bus at the time and whether Maradona is licensed to drive one. At least one report has suggested the bus may have been parked at the time.
