Man Who Wanted To Be Buried With His Pickup Truck Given Massive Concrete Brick Plot

A man whose last wish was to be buried with his beloved pickup truck has been given a massive plot with deep walls made of concrete.

The plot is located in the cemetery of Puerto San Carlos, which is a fishing community in the municipality of Comondu, located in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, and the deceased man has been named as Adan Arana by local media outlet Debate.

The images, which have been widely shared on social media, show the black truck being lowered into Arana’s grave with the man’s whole family in attendance. The man’s coffin was in the boot of the vehicle.

The man had reportedly requested that the black truck be buried with him after he was unable to enjoy the new vehicle that his son had given him.

The man was reportedly much loved in the area and was a pioneer in the fishing sector, according to the Mexican newspaper.

A large number of people were therefore in attendance for his funeral, including his family and friends but also fish merchants and other members of the fishing sector who showed up to pay their respects and give Arana one last farewell.

Many in attendance were reportedly unaware that the man had requested to be buried with his pickup truck but his son, who was not named, made sure that his grave would be big enough to house the large vehicle.

Builders were hired to use cement and concrete bricks to shore up the grave and a large crane was deployed to slowly lower the black pickup truck into the grave with the coffin in the boot of the vehicle.
