Man Who Shot Beautiful Russian Choreographer Was Allegedly Hired By Love Rival

The gunman suspected of shooting dead this beautiful Russian choreographer was allegedly hired by a jealous rival in love with her boyfriend.

The murder took place on Profsoyuznaya Street in the Russian capital Moscow on the evening of 23rd December.

Natalya Pronina, 30, was reportedly killed by a masked man who shot her twice with a handgun before going on the run.

The young woman, who had been a dancer since the age of six and worked as a celebrity choreographer, was hospitalised in a serious condition and later succumbed to her injuries.

An investigation into the case has revealed details about the murder and possible motives behind it.

Pronina’s roommate told prosecutors the victim’s murder was paid for by a rival, jealous over a businessman who they both knew and had a relationship with.

Her roommate, name not disclosed, said the unidentified rival hired two hitmen for RUB 200,000 (GBP 1,960).

According to reports, one of the gunmen shot the victim on the street and threw the pistol away near the scene without even bothering to wipe the prints off, which eventually led to his arrest.

The Cheremushkinsky District Court in Moscow said those suspected of organising and executing the murder will remain in custody until 23rd March.

The identities of the detainees have not been revealed by police.

Local media said one of the suspects is Crimean man Alexander Kravchenko, 33, whose possible motive is unknown.
