This is the moment a man’s head and arm is trapped in a claw machine after apparently venturing through the flap to get at the soft toys.

The unusual scene was filmed at the Antonio Bezerra Bus Terminal in the city of Fortaleza located in the Brazilian state of Ceara.

According to Socicam, the company that manages the city’s terminals, the alleged toy thief was rescued from the machine by bus workers.

Socicam added: “There was no complaint from the machine owner because it was not damaged.”

Eyewitnesses claimed the man was trying to steal soft toys when his head became trapped in the machine’s flap.

In the video, the man is seen kneeling on the floor with his head and right arm trapped in the machine while two terminal workers help him.

Children’s music blares from the machine as one kneeling worker tries to prise the man free from the flap.

At one point, the cameraperson films the back of the man’s head on the other side of the flap and his right arm is also seen wedged in the small space.

Meanwhile, the workers try to pull the man out of the machine, but with little success by the time the video ends.

According to the news site G1, the workers eventually managed to free the man although it is unclear how.

The police arrived on the scene and the alleged toy thief was placed under arrest.
