This is the moment a man records himself running on the top of a moving train and kids from a nearby school scream as they also film his dangerous exploits.
The bizarre scenes were recorded in the town if Mirassol in the southeastern Brazilian state of Sao Paulo and the man’s stunt has been dubbed “railway surfing” by the authorities.
In the clip a man, who has not been identified, can be seen sprinting on top of a moving train, running in the opposite direction the locomotive is moving in.
Children can be heard screaming whilst another clip recorded by the daredevil himself shows him sprinting across the roofs of the moving carriages.

He can be heard saying “it’s only for brave people” and cheering as he runs across the roofs.
The Military Police confirmed they had received a call about the incident but they have not identified the man.
Rumo, the company in charge of the railway the videos were recorded on, said that “railway surfing” is an illegal activity which carries the risk of death.
They say that security guards constantly monitor the trains to prevent daredevils performing stunts and said that they work with the community to try to dissuade people from doing risky activities on the train.
