An Indiana man has been arrested for killing his dad and severely beating his mother, later telling the cops that he believes his parents are the Clintons and he is Donald Trump.

The Donald trump wannabe, whose real name is Christopher Claerbout, aged 40, is accused of beating his mother and stabbing his father to death at their home in Woodland Springs in the city of Carmel in the US state of Indiana on 21st February.

The police arrived on the scene at around 6pm and found David Claerbout, 75, lying dead on the ground outside his home. The autopsy said he had been stabbed 20 times.

Inside the house, the police reportedly found the suspect’s mother Marcia Claerbout handcuffed and tied with cord.

She told officers that she had been cuffed since 9am and that her son had shoved her down the stairs, stamped on her, spat on her, and threatened her with a blade.

According to court documents, the police wrote: “(The mother) stated that Christopher thinks that she is not his mother and that he has other conspiracy theories, that include thinking that he is black.

“She stated that Christopher believes that he is Donald Trump and that she and her husband are Bill and Hillary Clinton.”

She told the police that her husband arrived home and found her tied up in the house and went to confront his son.

After allegedly killing his father, the suspect took his car and went on the run. The vehicle was tracked down and officers managed to disable it, causing it to roll to a stop.

According to WTHR, the suspect then exited the car and fled on foot into a wooded area. A police sniffer dog tracked him and he was promptly detained.

The defendant claimed that his mother told him he had been sexually abused as a child and that she admitted to covering up the alleged abuse, according to the police.

He also told officers that his parents offered him to “a lot of politicians” as a sex slave.

The police believed that he handcuffed his mother in an attempt to take her to Florida “under the war crimes act” for the crimes “she committed against him and the crimes that she committed against the country”.

He is quoted as saying that she was a “prisoner of war and that she was going to go to Guantanamo Bay”.

The suspect is accused of murder, criminal confinement resulting in serious bodily injury, criminal confinement with a deadly weapon, intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, and two charges of theft.

He is being held without bond at Hamilton County Jail as the investigation continues.
