Man Killed His Ex Partner And Used Her Blood To Write “I Love Him” On The Wall

A man who killed his ex-partner and then barricaded himself in as cops tried to storm the building had written “I love him” on the walls in her blood in a bid to make it seem that she did not want him to be punished.

The shocking incident included the moment when fireman managed to rescue through the window the couple’s son as well as a woman friend of the victim who had locked themselves in the bathroom when he started stabbing his wife.

The victim Alessandra Piga, 25, did not survive the brutal attack by her ex-partner Yassine Erroum, 30, who stabbed her as her friend ran off with a son and lock themselves in the bathroom at the house in Castelnuovo Magra in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria.

According to the reconstruction of events, Alessandra went to visit her ex-partner together with her 1-year-old child and a friend to talk about their separation.

Shortly into the visit, the two ex-partners started a heated argument. During the fight, Yassine hit Alessandra several times and managed to grab a kitchen knife.

At that moment, Alessandra’s friend took the child with her and locked themselves in the bathroom.

It is believed that after the child was out of sight Yassine attacked his ex-partner, stabbing her with a knife including stabbing her in the throat which proved fatal.

The sounds of violence were heard by people outside the property who called the police.

The police and the fire brigade arrived on the spot and they first of all help the child and the woman to escape through a bathroom window.

They we are able to immediately get into the house because it was barricaded, but once inside they had found the man standing alongside the body with the words “I love him” on one of the walls in the room.

It was apparently a bizarre attempt to make it seem as if she did not want her ex to be punished for her death.

Yassine tried attacking three of the officers who in the struggle suffered several cuts. Yassine also suffered an injury and was transported to a hospital in Massa.

On the way to the hospital, Yassine try to tell the doctors that he had no other option because Allesandra had been blackmailing him over access to their child, and told him she wanted 200 euros (171 GBP) to show him his son in future.

After being released from the hospital Yassine was taken to solitary confinement in the La Spezia prison, where he underwent an interrogation.

The police believe that Yassine was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the crime because they found traces of the narcotic during the research of the house.

They have seized the murder weapon- a kitchen knife (17.5 cm long blade), a Postepay card in the victim’s name, 420 euros (360 GBP) in cash and the phones of the people who were present at the time of the murder.

During the investigation, the child will be placed with his maternal grandparents.

Alessandra’s autopsy was carried out on Tuesday (15 June), but the results have not been published yet.
