Man Found Buried In Secretarys Garden And Cops Think She Covered Up Murder With Fake COVID Post

An Argentinian man’s dead body has been found buried in his secretary’s garden who cops believe posted on his social media saying he had died of COVID-19 to cover up the murder.

The body of Daniel Cipolat, 60, an Argentinian who had been living in Mexico for over a decade, was found in his secretary, Linda Uribe’s, garden in Cancun, Mexico on the 23rd of September.

Uribe has been on the run since cops found Daniel’s body and the police are now trying to find out if she was the one posting messages on the victim’s social media accounts claiming he had died of COVID-19.

Daniel had a large online following and often gave lectures on spiritual and cosmic topics.

An Instagram post was uploaded to Daniel’s account where he has 20,900 followers on 29th August.

It read: “This time it got me. I’ve tested positive for the covid delta variant. What can I tell you? It doesn’t appear to respond to any medication.”

The post went on: “I feel very debilitated and the situation is frustrating. I am not afraid and I am open to any outcome.”

On 3rd September a post appeared on his Facebook page saying that his condition had worsened and that he had died of COVID-19.

Suspicion began to grow around Uribe’s role in the man’s disappearance after she told the man’s family in Argentina about his death but did not give any further details.

Daniel’s online following also grew suspicions and the hashtag#DondeEstadanielCipolat (WhereIsdanielCipolat) gained traction on Twitter.

The news site El Comercio reports that Nicolas Cipolat, the victim’s son, travelled to Mexico from Argentina to talk to his father’s secretary on 13th September.

She allegedly eventually confessed to Nicolas that she had killed him and buried him in her garden but she refused to take Nicolas to her house.

Nicolas reported the conversation to the police who launched an investigation and found the victim’s body on 23rd September.

Uribe went on the run after the police found the body and has not been seen since. She is wanted by Mexican authorities.

The authorities are now waiting for the result of the autopsy which will determine when exactly Daniel died. Investigators have not yet put forward a theory regarding the suspect’s potential motive.
