According to reports, one of the windows of a four-storey building fell to the pavement and narrowly missed the unsuspecting pedestrian.

The window frame reportedly grazed the man’s head before it smashed at his feet.

CCTV video footage of the drama shows the man walking along the street as the window plummets down in front of him.

Amazed at his lucky escape, he can be seen brushing down his jeans before walking on.

Gulizar Uluisik, who runs a beauty salon in the building, said: “It happened after sunset when we still had customers. There was a scary noise from the upper floor.

“I thought one of our windows had fallen out, but when we looked down from our window, we saw that it came from the upper floor.

“Just at that moment, a man was walking past. He had a near miss.”

It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the incident.

In the video, the man is seen walking along the pavement just as a window frame falls from the sky in a vertical position.

The man flinches as the heavy object just narrowly misses his head and crashes to the ground by his feet.

He looks skywards to see where the window had come from before brushing the glass shards from his shoes and trousers and continuing on his way.
