This is the fairy-tale beach with golden sands and sunsets where couples have to queue for the best camera angles to film their romantic moments.

A TikTok video of one moment on a beach in Mazatlan, Mexico, shows no fewer than one wedding and three proposals being filmed with the same sand, surf and sunset as a backdrop.

One couple can be seen in a driftwood shelter signing what seem to be their marriage certificates.

A few feet away, another couple celebrate their proposal down by the surf in front of selfie-snapping friends.

A few steps down the beach, a couple have built a makeshift white tent to record their proposal for social media.

And just behind them, a couple can be seen with the man on one knee making a traditional proposal.

A commentary over the footage says: “Here they are getting married, here they asked for marriage, here they are going to ask and here they are asking for marriage all in the same moment.”

With 80 kilometres of mostly sandy coastline that looks out on a spectacular sunset at the end of the day, Mazatlan’s beaches are a hotspot for romantic tourists.

One commentator, however, pointed out that there was only around 500 metres of beach where you really got the best sunset and the best sand, which is why they were all packed together.
