Lotto Punter Scoops Thee Fortunes Playing His Lucky Number

A lotto punter scooped an astonishing USD 150,000 fortune after winning three times three different lottery tickets in one night.

Craig Jones – from Columbia, Maryland State, USA – had bought three USD 1 (GBP 0.8) Pick5 entries in the game using his favourite 51266 number at 6000 Foreland Garth Long Beach Exxon gas station on Friday afternoon, 10th March

And he was flabbergasted when all three won USD 50,000 (GBP 41,200) jackpots, totalling USD 150,000 (GBP 123,333).

Forklift truck driver Craig said in a statement obtained by Newsflash from Maryland Lottery: “When I looked at my numbers, I started to drop my phone. I had to look at it again.”

The lucky winner revealed that his lucky number had almost worked in the past but was always off a win by one or two numbers.

He explained: “I knew it was going to hit. It came so close. That is why I keep playing.”

Craig had played on three different USD 1 (GBP 0.8) Pick5 tickets on 13th March.

Now he plans to use the cash he will use the money to pay off some family bills.

He also plans to travel to Las Vegas and watch a live game with his favourite NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders.

The gas station where Craig purchased the tickets was also rewarded with a USD 500 (GBP 412) bonus for each lucky ticket sold.
