This is the moment a lorry transporting a huge electrical transformer takes a slip ramp and ends up rolling down the embankment before crashing onto the main road.
The incident was filmed on the Tuxtla Gutierrez main road in the town Chiapa de Corzo in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas by a motorist behind the lorry, and the footage was later shared on social media.
In the clip, the heavy goods vehicle is seen taking the emergency ramp as smoke appears to bellow from the back.
The lorry suddenly veers to the left and it is seen breaking through the barriers and rolling onto the main road.

Luckily, no vehicles were passing at the time and no other road users were reported as injured.
However, the lorry driver for Mexico’s Federal Electricity Commission, Andres Lopez Dominguez, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
According to local media, the Federal Police closed the road to move the lorry and diverted traffic along different routes.
The Mexican Secretariat of Public Security confirmed that a tow truck was called to move the lorry and the road was reopened shortly afterwards.
It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the incident.
