This is the moment looters steal cash, cigarettes, and alcohol from an off-licence during the ongoing uprising which has gripped Chile.

The incident took place in the city of Concepcion in the province of the same name located in the central Chilean region of Bio Bio during protests in the area.

According to local media, the Kamadi off-licence was looted during the ongoing demonstrations against President Sebastian Pinera’s government and rising inequality in Chile.

Several protesters reportedly attacked army soldiers outside the shop before looting it.

In the footage, the large mob is seen breaking through the glassed entrance and running inside to apparently empty the tills.

Looters, many of whom wore scarves over their faces, also stole items such as cigarettes and alcohol and at one point in the video a staff member is heard shouting: “Leave a*seholes!”

According to local media, the police arrived shortly after the mob broke into the off licence, although it is unclear if any arrests were made.

During the same city protest in Concepcion City, two pharmacies on Anibal Pinto and Colo Colo Streets were also looted by demonstrators, according to reports.
