Lockdown Breakers In Street Run From Cop Car With Siren

This is the moment people in a street during the coronavirus lockdown are sent sprinting into their homes as a police car arrives with its siren blaring.

The video was reportedly recorded in the Chair municipality in the capital of North Macedonia Skopje and was posted onto social media.

In the clip, one resident can be seen sprinting down the street as a police car begins driving down it.

The police car sounds its sirens and the clip then shows a large group of residents running back into their homes as the patrol vehicle passes.

The video was widely shared online and netizen ‘Igor Manev’ left a comment saying: “How did they all disappear in 10 seconds?”

‘Vlatko Micevski’ commented: “Everybody probably ran into the wrong house”, and ‘Samir Ismaili’ likened the scene to “Tom & Jerry”.

North Macedonia is under strict police curfew from 9PM until 5AM on weekdays and on weekends from 4PM till 6AM.

According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University, there have been 285 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country with seven deaths.
