Paris Saint-Germain Sporting Director has slammed Zinedine Zidane’s comments about Kylian Mbappe’s “dream” of Real Madrid as “annoying” and asked him to “stop and leave him alone”.

Real Madrid boss Zidane made the comments during a pre-match interview before Los Blancos 6-0 win over against Galastasary yesterday (Wednesday).

When asked about Mbappe’s, 20, possible move to the club Zidane said: “It is the player who is going to decide what he is going to do.

“At the moment he is a player for Paris Saint-Germain but I know he said that his dream was always to play for Real Madrid.”

PSG’s Sporting Director Leonardo Araujo found the comments “annoying” as he told French programme RMC Sport after PSG’s Champions League win over Club Brugge saying: “Honestly, it bothers me a bit, it is annoying.

“I do not think it is a good time to talk about this. He should stop and leave him alone. He is a player that has a contract with us for the next 2 and a half years.”

Leonardo went on to call Mbappe “the best young French player” right now assuring “this is not the moment to destabilise him” as this could “add pressure” to the footballer.

Both Real Madrid and PSG are coming off victories from Champions league matches with Real Madrid beating Galatasaray 6-0 as Brazilian forward Rodrygo scored a hat-trick.

PSG won 1-0 against Club Brugge thanks to a penalty save by Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas and a goal from Mauro Icardi in the 21st minute.
