These are the incredible before-and-after images of a Turkish influencer who had his legs lengthened to make him taller.
Student Ozkan Sagin, 24, creates online content for his 2.5 million followers on TikTok and one million followers on Instagram.
He had started doing this at university and it had really taken off during the coronavirus lockdown, when classes were suspended.
But he was unhappy with how he looked in his videos, not least because he often appeared shorter than everybody else.
He said that before surgery, he was just 1.66 metres (5’5″) tall, but after the operation he had gained another 10 centimetres (four inches).
The complicated procedure involves breaking the bones and then slowly pulling them apart as the two ends grow towards each other.
He told how new bone was created every day in the growing space between the broken bones, meaning there was no need to take bone from other parts of the body.
He shared pictures of himself standing alongside other people, with the 10-centimetre difference appearing to have had an impact, making him seem considerably taller.
