This is the moment Lazio forward Ciro Immobile is filmed by a teammate terrified on an aeroplane moments before take-off due to his fear of flying.

The video was taken by Lazio central-defender Francesco Acerbi, 31, while the squad were getting ready to take off after their 2-1 victory away against AC Milan.

The video shows the moment Italian international Immobile, 29, is seemingly unable to move out of fear as puts his head down and holds on to the seat in front of him.

Acerbi asks him “is everything OK?” and Immobile simply responds, “No, no”. A smiling Acerbi then asks Immobile “can I get you anything?”

Immobile’s responds by simply holding on to the defender’s leg with one hand. He then briefly looks up but only to shift his grip from the chair to the player’s leg, seemingly immobilised by fear.

Acerbi captioned the video: “It is good you have scored 100 goals for Lazio, but this is what you are.”

Shortly after the video went public Immobile commented on the post saying: “I thought you loved me @francescoacerbi88. You broke my heart.”

Immobile scored the opening goal in Lazio’s win, notching his 100th goal in for Lazio.

Only six players have scored score 100 or more goals in the history of the Roman club, including Immobile.

The list is currently led by Italian striker Silvio Piola who netted 149 strikes between 1934 and 1943.

Immobile has scored 14 goals for Lazio this season so far with 13 coming in Serie A and another in the Europa League.

Lazio are currently in fourth position in the league with 21 points while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus are first with 29 points.
