This is the moment a Colombian pop star falls through a stage after he jumps up and down during the lively climax to a song.

Colombian musician Hebert Vargas fell through the stage floor while repeatedly jumping at the end of a song during the ‘Skandalo’ concert in the city of Tulua in the western Colombian department of Valle del Cauca.

In the footage shared on Vargas’ Instagram account for his 229,000 followers, the former ‘Gigantes del Vallenato’ frontman is seen jumping on the stage at the end of a song.

On his second bounce, the singer disappears through the stage floor and roadies rush on to help.

He is helped back on stage and he gingerly walks over to the microphone to tell the cheering crowd: “This is part of the show, it was not planned, but we are alive! Thanks Tulua, I have you in my heart.”

Vargas accompanied the clip with the message: “Last night in Tulua, I suffered a scary situation on stage!”

Netizen ‘BettyVelez96387’ commented: “May God always look after you because you are so good with your fans.”
