Large 55 Inch TV Crashes To Ground As Bungling Couple Tries To Take It Home On Motorbike

This is the moment a young couple tries to transport their 55-inch TV home on their motorbike and ends up knocking it to the ground while going through a height-restriction barrier.

The incident was filmed outside a shopping centre in the city of Joao Pessoa in the Brazilian state of Paraiba on the afternoon of Monday, 8th November.

In the footage, the couple is seen riding slowly through the car park as the woman holds the TV, propped on the seat between her and her partner.

As they ride through the barrier, the top of the TV catches the frame and falls backwards.

The woman, still holding the large screen, also bends backwards under the weight of the TV and does not let it go despite her head nearly touching the ground.

According to the news site Metropoles, the couple had just bought a 55-inch television at the local shopping centre and decided to take it home on the back of their motorbike.

However, as they were leaving the car park, the height of the big TV caught the top of the height-restriction barrier and crashed to the ground.

The woman holding the TV, named as Juliana Gomes, said that she was unharmed in the incident and, remarkably, so was her new telly.

She also said that the TV was not cheap and that they managed to transport it home on the motorbike without further incident.

Also, when they plugged the television in, they were pleased to see that it had not been damaged in the fall.
