KUNG CHEW: Boy Pulls Out Own Tooth With Martial Arts Kick

This is the moment a young martial arts fan removes his own wobbly tooth with a lightning-fast kung fu kick.

The brave six-year-old told his mum he was fed up with waiting for the tooth to fall out and tied the incisor to a door handle at the family home in Linyi, Shandong Province, China.

Then – in case it went wrong – he put an anti-fever patch on his forehead, believing it could work as an anaesthetic.

His mother – named in local media as Mrs Zhang – can be heard trying to persuade her son to come to hospital to have the tooth examined by a dentist.

But – as the footage shows – the youngster unleashes a powerful kung fu kick that slams the door shut, pulling out the tooth instantly.

In the footage – shared on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok – the youngster grins widely at his mother showing her the new gap in his teeth.

Mrs Zhang said she had only just finished telling him they were going to hospital when he suddenly kicked the door.

Although she was shocked, she said, she was also impressed at how brave he was.
