Kremlin Arrests Protesters Despite Them Resorting To Carrying Blank Signs

The Kremlin is reportedly arresting peaceful Russian protesters despite them resorting to carrying blank signs as the Russian tyrant cracks down on anti-war demonstrations and independent media outlets.

This footage was reportedly shot in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, which is located in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast region, in western Russia, just over 400 kilometres (249 miles) from the capital Moscow.

It was shared online by, among others, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Arsen Avakov, the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs.

The images show Russian police officers arresting a female protester who can be seen holding up a sign with nothing on it.

Despite simply holding a white piece of paper, two burly police officers can be seen taking the protester, who despite wearing a face mask appears to be a young woman, away.

Other protesters can be heard grumbling and mumbling, but none of them dare to stand up to the law enforcement officers.

Thousands of protesters have reportedly been arrested in cities all over the country since Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin invaded his peaceful neighbour Ukraine, launching an unprovoked war that has seen him accused of war crimes, an allegation that is being investigated by the International Court of Justice on the grounds that his army has bombed civilians.

Media outlets in Russia have been severely restricted in the last few weeks, with many Western organisations deciding to suspend operations in the country amid fears that their journalists could be given lengthy prison sentences for reporting the truth.

Western nations and NATO member states have fallen short of declaring a no-fly despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s repeated requests for the most powerful military alliance in the world to do so.
