This is the moment cops and neighbours scarper from an angry drunk woman with two knives before she tries to break through the door like a scene from ‘The Shining’.

The incident took place at a block of flats in the town of Pyt-Yakh in the central-western Russian region of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug when the angry woman came to complain about the noise her neighbours and the cops were making, according to local media.

In the footage, two officers and several neighbours are seen dashing into two apartments as the reportedly drunk woman comes out of her home brandishing two knives.

She then stabs and tries to kick down one door, falling over in the process, before continuing her assault on the woodwork.

At the end of the video, the woman appears to break down and the cops lead her towards her flat, leaving the two knives on the floor.

Reports said the officers were discussing something with the drunk woman’s neighbours in loud voices and she grew angry at the noise they were making.

The police are investigating the circumstances behind the unnamed woman’s behaviour, who reportedly has a criminal record.

Netizen ‘Transaero’ wrote: “I laughed so much when they all ran away. Are they really the best cops to protect us? It would have been enough to fire a warning shot so the woman would freak out and drop the knives.”

‘Kaskamalashka’ said: “The cops disappeared a bit sharpish. Great protectors!”
