Police in Brazil have arrested a stunning law graduate who they found was working as an escort for shooting her wealthy fiance dead inside a motel room.
Police in Cocalzinho de Goias in Goias State arrested law graduate turned escort Marcela Ellen, 31, on 9th November.
The arrest took place after she allegedly tried to steal a light commercial vehicle (LCV) by threatening its driver with a .38 calibre firearm.
Officers called out to the motel in Candangolandia, Federal District, following reports of a dead body found Jordan Guimaraes Lombardi, 39, with a gunshot wound to his right eye.
The deceased victim reportedly had a top job at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
Marcela Ellen told police during questioning that she had been engaged to the victim for around two years and that they lived in the upmarket neighbourhood of Moema in Sao Paulo.
She reportedly admitted to killing Jordan after an alleged rape.
Investigators found that the couple had checked into the motel on 7th November.
They also found that Marcela works as an escort and advertises her services online.
They believe that after the shooting, she fled the scene in an Audi Q7 and drove to nearby Cocalzinho de Goias, where the car broke down.
There – half-naked – she got out of the vehicle with the gun in hand and approached the LCV driver.
The driver later told police that Marcela Ellen had threatened him and demanded he unlock his mobile phone and hand it over to her.
He said she told him she had been sexually abused and wanted his car.
The man later ran to the motorway and asked for help. He was picked up by another driver, who took him to police.
Officers were able to swiftly arrest Marcela Ellen. It was when they inspected the gun that they noticed a bullet had been fired.
When quizzed about it, she confessed to the slaying.
In addition to the gun and ammo, police seized an iPhone and a bag of cocaine from her.
She was remanded in custody in Aguas Lindas de Goias and stands accused of murder.
Her custody hearing will take place today (10th November).
