This is the moment a young girl on a swing apparently tries to do a loop over the handlebars before she is sent flying and ends up with both arms broken, temporary blindness and memory loss.

The incident happened in the city of Noyabrsk, the largest city in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region, and left the youngster with concussion that resulted in a temporary loss of memory and blindness, as well as two broken arms.

However, her memory has now returned, as has her eyesight, although it will take longer for her two broken arms to heal.

The incident happened at the playground this month and CCTV shows the girl swinging on the swing while a friend who has climbed on the side of the frame gives it a good push every time she goes by to make her go higher.

She was reportedly heard by witnesses begging the boy to push the chains with maximum force so she could be “like the sun”. The friend duly obliged,, leading to the serious accident.

He is seen jumping down from the swings, and running over to the injured girl who is not moving after the accident happened.

She was in critical condition when taken to hospital but she is now reportedly out of danger.
