This is the moment a mother stabs a young man to death in front of screaming onlookers after he yanked a microphone from her hand as she sang in a karaoke bar.

The incident was filmed in the municipality of Siaton in the central Philippine province of Negros Oriental and shared on Facebook where it has been viewed over 87,000 times in less than a day.

According to local media, the 37-year-old victim, identified as Jesus Gainsan, yanked the microphone off of 59-year-old suspect Rosita Nemaria as she was singing in an unnamed karaoke bar.

The incident led to a row with the suspect’s 32-year-old son Roger Nemaria, and the two men began brawling on the street outside the karaoke bar, according to reports.

In the footage, the victim in a white vest is seen fighting the suspect’s son, wearing a white T-shirt.

As the two men brawl in the street, a woman in a red top is seen taking something from a bag on the ground, apparently a knife, and attacking Gainsan as onlookers scream.

The man reels backwards and appears to gesture to his chest area, however the mum and son keep attacking him and he is forced to defend himself.

Gainsan runs down the road and the son follows him to continue the brawl. By this stage, the victim has blood pouring down the front of his vest and he appears weakened and stumbles while trying to get away from the 32-year-old man.

In the next shocking scene, the victim falls to the ground and the mother grabs the knife again. She runs over to him and appears to stab him several times before her son pulls her away.

Meanwhile, the victim is left lying in a pool of blood in the street.

The victim was rushed to the Lamberto Macias Memorial Hospital where he eventually succumbed to his wounds.

Reports said that both the mother and son have been arrested as the investigation continues.
