This bizarre footage shows how a topless man marched into a restaurant and emptied diners’ plates of food into a plastic bag before leaving.

Security cameras inside the establishment in Hezhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, South China filmed the incident as it unfolded on 20th August.

Footage shows how the topless man marches into the restaurant and grabs a clear plastic bag located at the till.

He can then be seen striding over to a table and emptying a diner’s noodle dish into the bag without even glancing at him while the diner looks on baffled.

He then walks over to another table where a couple are sitting. They can be seen lifting up their plates and holding them away from him so he cannot snatch them.

But the woman, possibly after feeling threatened, gives in and empties her meal into the same plastic bag.

The man then marches out of the establishment, stopping briefly to snatch another diner’s drink bottle on his way out.

The restaurant owner said that after the incident, he replaced the customers’ stolen meals for free.

Police, meanwhile, were reported to be investigating.
