This is the moment a woman jumps onto the railway track at a busy station and is pulled to safety in less than a minute before the next train arrives.

Footage Yiwu Railway Station in East China’s Zhejiang Province shows the woman running towards the tracks before jumping off Platform 3 on 16th November.

She sprints along the tracks in a straight line and is immediately spotted by railway employee Zheng Wenhua who is seen running alongside her on the platform, the video shows.

Zheng reportedly managed to grab her arm and pulled her back onto the platform some 50 seconds later, shortly before train T81 pulled into the station.

Video from the station also shows the woman, who is reportedly in her 30s, being held by railway staff as T81 roars past.

She tries to wriggle free and run towards the arriving train but is held down, the clip shows.

Railway authorities said the woman, who they did not name, had purchased a ticket for Jinhua South Railway Station.

She told police she had been going through “relationship troubles”.

She has since been reunited with her family, with no trains thought to have been delayed.
