JOY RIDE: Road Travellers Stuck In Fog Dance Through Six-Hour-Long Traffic Jam

A large crowd of good-spirited Chinese people made the best out of a six-hour traffic jam by getting out of their cars and dancing on the road.

The funky group reportedly got stuck in traffic due to heavy fog on the roads in Rizhao, Shandong Province, eastern China.

Rather than letting the bad weather and road conditions put them in a bad mood, the crowd apparently decided to have a fun time instead.

They all hopped out of their vehicles and played some groovy music, then danced the troubles away for about two hours.

A man by the surname Wang witnessed the positive atmosphere and filmed the ‘outdoor party’, then shared the videos on Douyin – China’s TikTok.

Mr Wang told local media the roads had been blocked for five to six hours because of heavy fog in the area, but people did not let the weather disrupt their spirits.

Netizens were also amused by the unexpected sight captured in the footage.

User ‘spring blossoms’ said in a comment: “Makes me want to get stuck in traffic too!”

Another user, ‘Pleasant beauty’, said: “This is a great way to fuel and avoid getting cold.”
