This jobless woman is now making 1,000-GBP per month by turning socks into puppets.

She told local media: “I was spending time with my daughter Daria and I wanted to do something different. I remembered myself as a kid turning socks into teddy bears. Knowing that I had a bag full of unpaired socks, I decided to make something new- a doll.”

She has now sold over 200 dolls in the past two months, with each doll fetching between 10 and 20 GBP.

The puppets of her “Friendly Doll” collection are filled with anti-allergic padding and can be custom-made for each customer.

In the photos, it can be seen that some customers have used their dolls as mascots in their cars.

She told reporters: “I love them all and I do not have a favourite. Each of the dolls is unique and custom-made.

“At the moment I know for sure: I want to be a handmade toys’ creator and I want to specialise in this niche more and more.”
