A jealous woman has sliced off her husband’s manhood with a pair of scissors while he was sleeping because she was fed up with his popularity with the ladies.

After several hours of agony, the wife eventually took her blood-soaked hubby to Cho Ray Hospital in the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh where surgeons operated to save the 40-year-old man’s penis.

According to the news site VnExpress, the man was sleeping when his jealous wife cut off his manhood with a pair of scissors.

Before the reattachment, Doctor Nguyen Thanh Tuan of the urology department told the online newspaper VnExpress: “The penis was cut with scissors so the doctor has to treat the wound and wash the severed part well to avoid infection.

“The procedure requires the use of special microsurgery glasses and the surgeon must be trained in microsurgery and vascular surgery.”

Around 10 days after the operation, the victim, name not disclosed, told the same newspaper: “I feel fine, I can walk and eat normally, and the area that was cut off is now pink.”

Meanwhile, the local police are investigating the patient’s wife for allegedly slicing off her hubby’s member, adding that she was jealous of his popularity with the ladies.
