A German neo-Nazi fan of Adolf Hitler is facing life imprisonment after he shot his ex-wife and her good looking surfer boyfriend dead, and then decided to kill his best friend too for good measure after suspecting he was also chasing his ex-wife.

Hartmut F., 47, used to dive into a local lake looking for Second World War hand against his home in the Westensee municipality in the German city of Kiel, confessed he shot his ex-wife Hanna F., 43, and her current partner Tobias H., 53, out of jealousy.

He then decided to make a clean slate of it and kill off all of his wife’s suspected admirers before turning himself, which resulted in him also tracking down his close friend Carsten B., 52.

According to local media, the jealous neo-Nazi dentist and Hanna F. were married for 16 years and lived in the Westensee municipality with their four children aged 15, 14, 11 and eight.

Dissatisfied with her marriage to the Nazi loving dentist, Hanna F. separated from her husband and moved to Kiel where she met 53-year-old Tobias H. who was a professional surfer in August 2020.

The dentist then began physically molesting his former partner who was even hospitalised with severe head injuries and a broken nose in November 2020.

He attacked and threatened her again in January 2021, before she obtained a restraining order on him which meant he had to miss his 14-year-old son’s Confirmation on Saturday (15th May).

Outraged and blindsided by jealousy and not being able to cope with his wife leaving him, Hartmut F. decided to take things into his own hands.

The incident occurred at 11am on Wednesday morning (19th May) when the 47-year-old man drove to Tobias H.’s house in the Danischenhagen suburb in the city of Kiel where he allegedly knew he would find him with Hanna F.

After he allegedly shot the couple he fled away with his white SUV in an unknown direction.

His rack was lost until 8.30pm when he turned himself in to the police in the city of Hamburg and confessed he had also shot his former best friend Carsten B. who was a professional electrician and lived in the city of Kiel.

A colleague of the electrician told Bild: “Hartmut had once seen Casten go to Hanna with a bag of bread rolls. He threatened him: ‘If I ever see you here again, I will kill you’.”

In addition, investigators who searched the suspect’s house found a whole arsenal of guns, rifles, ammunition boxes and evidence that revealed he was a Nazi admirer.

A close friend of Hartmut F. told Bild: “Hartmut owned a Walther PPK [gun] with “Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler” engraved on it. He has a great fascination for the Nazi era.”

The gun was probably from the 1st SS Panzer Division “Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler”, short LSSAH, that began as Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguard, responsible for guarding the German leader himself as well as his office and home.
