Japanese Air Freshener Smells Like Teenage Girl In Car

This is the creepy air freshener – currently sold out on Amazon Japan – said to smell like “when you give a ride to a high school girl in the passenger seat.”

It currently appears to be sold out, although Amazon Japan is reportedly suggesting people interested in buying it that they could instead choose “Girl’s room smell”, “Smell of school girl uniform”, “Underwear smell of school girls”, “The smell of a birl bathing”, and even a “Kagu Tights – Smell of your sister’s steamed pants” product.

The product became popular after a teenager in the country was discovered by his mum after buying a ‘teenage-girl-smelling’ air freshener online and made a posting about it.

The postings posted by ‘Hiraoka’ who said he had used the ‘girl-smelling’ air freshener made by Tama Toys in his own vehicle.

He said: “My mum was in the passenger seat when she said ‘did you give a ride to a young girl recently?’ When I told her it was this air freshener she said ‘you’re a weirdo’, lol. So that means this air freshener is really good.”

He included a photo of the air freshener’s packaging which boasts: “The Smell When You Give a Ride to a High School Girl in the Passenger Seat.”

Hiraoka said he bought the product at a sex store, but other netizens said the air freshener is available on Amazon Japan for 1,760 JPY (12 GBP).

Netizens said the fragrance is similar to a teenager’s perfume while others wrote “I want this”, “thanks for the info, I bought this today”, “do you think I could put this in my taxi” and “if I use it in my room will it feel like there’s a girl with me?”

Many of the bizarre new Japanese products reportedly centre on schoolgirls, and reports said there is fried chicken available that even tastes like girls’ feet and sweat.
