An astonished farmer may have cracked it in the art world – after finding one of her brood has created a perfect image of a vase on an egg.

Amazed Busra Koclardan, discovered the artwork in a clutch of eggs in the family garden in Bingol, Turkey, local media reported on 1st October.

The vase looks like a classical Greek or ancient Roman urn in a perfect image on the shell.

She explained “I’ve collected eggs before, but I haven’t encountered anything like this, I was quite surprised to see it.

“We washed it with detergent, it still didn’t come out.”

Busra went on to explain that her farming family plans to keep the egg.

This comes after news of a woman named Lori Bricks from Colorado who kept a potato with a smiley face on it in her freezer for five years before naming it Pete after refusing to chop it up while she was cooking because she thought it looked “friendly”.

She told local media: “I couldn’t turn him into a hash brown because he was just so friendly looking, he just made me laugh so hard.”

In 2012 a chicken McNugget that bore an uncanny resemblance to US president George Washington was reportedly sold on eBay for USD 8,100.

While a “nun bun” that allegedly looks like Mother Teresa – now Saint Teresa of Calcutta – celebrated its 25th anniversary last year after its owner refused to eat it in 1996.
