It is believed that the tragic incident took place sometime last week. Mohammad is allegedly known to be a drug addict who reportedly killed his first wife, unnamed, in 1984.

He was jailed for seven years until the victim’s family consented for him to be released. He later married again and had Emadreza and Saeedeh with his second wife, who has not been named.

On the day of the incident, he reportedly took his children to a park before taking them to a cliff and allegedly pushing them off to their deaths. He later reportedly tried to poison himself in a failed attempt to kill himself.

But he survived after allegedly shouting about his deeds in the street, and after being taken to hospital, doctors were able to save his life.

Local media reported that his second wife had left him on previous occasions, taking the kids with her, over his alleged addiction to drugs. It is currently unclear what kind of drugs he is allegedly addicted to.

The police have launched an investigation. It is currently unclear if he had been charged at the time of writing.
