Iranian security forces are accused of shooting an 18-year-old dead during an anti-regime demo.

Momen Zandkarimi was badly wounded by direct fire during protests in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province on 2nd November.
He was taken to Tohid Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
He was later buried in Machekeh under the watchful eye of security agents.

Many from Sanandaj travelled to the village to pay their respects at his funeral, anti-regime media reported.
The protests that erupted in Iran on 16th September have so far claimed the lives of at least 336 people and injured at least 1,160, according to independent estimates.

Iranian ethnic minorities – including Kurds – are said to be disproportionately suffering from state repression.
Mahsa Amini – the 22-year-old whose alleged violent death at the hands of morality police triggered the ongoing protests – was also Kurdish.
