Innocent Bystander Killed In Shootout Between Deputies And Wanted Suspect

An innocent passenger has been killed after three USA cops got involved in a shooting incident with a wanted suspect.

The incident reportedly occurred when the deputies targeted suspect Andre Manuel Mora in the the 12000 block of Foster Road in Norwalk, in Los Angeles, California State, USA, on 17th February 2022.

Mora – who was wanted for firearm-related assault and attempted carjacking – was reportedly found walking by detectives and producing a gun.

The incident resulted resulted in a shootout, before Mora fled into a residence and barricaded himself inside, leading to a six-hour standoff before being arrested.

But police revealed that an unarmed bystander named Pedro Manuel Morales, 67, died after he was shot in his upper body during the fire.

He was reportedly pronounced died at the scene.

Following the incident police officers recovered a loaded semiautomatic handgun on site, while Mora was brought to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The California Department of Justice assumed control of the investigation.
