This new footage of the young woman hugging her bleeding boyfriend after reportedly stabbing him in the stomach shows him attacking her after being wounded.

The incident took place outside the Hotel La Cascada in the city of Iguala in the central Mexican state of Guerrero when the 22-year-old woman, identified as Sonia Amayrani Nunez Aguilar, became embroiled in a row with her 29-year-old partner Erick Omar.

In the first video filmed by an eyewitness, the injured man is seen kneeling on the ground while holding his stomach as his girlfriend, who allegedly stabbed him, hugs and kisses him.

She says to him: “React, my love.”

New footage, filmed by a hotel guest and uploaded to social media where it has been viewed over 300,000 times, shows the moments after the alleged stabbing when Omar lashes out at his apologetic partner.

In the video, Omar is seen writhing in agony on the pavement as his girlfriend tries to comfort him.

He starts yelling and kicking out at Nunez Aguilar before shouting: “Help me!”

Omar then gets to his feet while clutching his stab wound and runs after the fleeing woman, grabbing her by the hair and forcing her to the ground.

He then walks away with Nunez Aguilar seen running after him.

According to local media, eyewitnesses identified the girlfriend as the person responsible for Omar’s alleged stab wound.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is now in a stable condition while the suspect is in police custody after reportedly violating her probation.

She has also been served with a restraining order, according to reports.
