This popular fashion influencer who decided to return to her former job as a nurse to help fight COVID-19 has now revealed she has contracted the virus.

Angela Rozas Saiz, better known as Madame de Rosa, 38, started a fashion blog 10 years ago and is now popular influencer in Spain but decided to return to her former role as a nurse in the face of the coronavirus crisis in the Spanish capital Madrid.

She shared a photo of herself wearing a protection kit in the corridor of a hospital after returning back to the health service. However, a few days later she shared a video revealing she had been diagnosed with coronavirus.

In the clip she said: “I have just come out from the hospital and I have tested positive for COVID-19, so I have coronavirus. Psychologically I feel a bit crestfallen because I cannot avoid feeling guilty, I have the feeling that I have done something wrong.

“I will not be able to go back to the hospital. I feel guilty because Romeo (her son) is with symptoms too. I feel I have exposed him.”

She said that she is fine, “but with a fever, problems breathing and a headache” to try to calm down her fans.

The influencer was reportedly working the La Paz Hospital in Madrid and had shared some stories from her experience with her followers, including how she tried to console an isolated patient.

She said that working in the hospital was very hard due to the amount of work and the shortage of materials, adding it was particularly seeing patients alone without the support of their relatives due to the quarantine.
