An Italian reality star who worried her fans by falling silent for a fortnight has posted a snap of her bandaged and bruised face following a nasty car accident.

She also revealed how she feared that she might die at the time.

After a two-week hiatus, former Temptation Island star and model Carlotta Adacher returned to Instagram to post a snap of her nasty injuries for her 138,000 followers.

The 36-year-old revealed that she had been involved in a serious car accident on 30th April.

Her sister had earlier said: “She’s had a major accident, she’s not in a life-threatening condition, but she has numerous facial fractures. We’re waiting for the surgery.”

But now Carlotta has told what happened in her own words, writing online: “An afternoon in late April, a date with a time that I will never forget. 30th April, 6.30pm.

“The usual road travelled a thousand times. One second. The impact. The void. So much fear in those seconds of closing my eyes and not being able to open them anymore.

“13th May, 2023. I am here.

“You know me, I’m coming back with my photos (maybe a little battered), my stories, my (alternative) expressions, and my speeches, surely accompanied by some strange pronunciation (hopefully temporary).

“With time, all of this will increasingly become a memory, and as always, I will share it with all of you. Thank you.”

Carlotta is widely known in Italy for appearing on the Italian version of the American reality television dating game show Temptation Island in 2021.

During her time on the show, she caught the attention of Alessandro Autera, who appeared on the show with his then girlfriend, Jessica Mascheroni.

After the programme ended, Carlotta and Alessandro had a relationship for a few months.

Carlotta, from Rome, also had a brief relationship with former Uomini e Donne star Giulio Raselli.

She now works as a model and influencer.
