This incredible footage shows the moment a man is run over by a bus wheel and disappears underneath it before climbing out and walking away after dusting himself off.
The cyclist named as Aldo Medina, whose age was not given, was hit by a bus in the small Argentinian locality of La Consulta in the province of Mendoza around 1.00 pm on Monday, 4th October.
In the security camera footage, Aldo can be seen riding alongside the bus towards a zebra crossing.
As the lights turn green the bus driver begins to turn the vehicle to the right without noticing that Aldo was alongside.
The bus knocks Aldo off his bike and drives directly over him with the front wheel.
The passengers can be seen staring in horror as Aldo completely disappears under the bus.
Surprisingly Aldo emerges from under the bus after a few seconds and appears relatively unharmed apart from a slight limp.
He reportedly then walked unaided to the pavement dusting himself off but otherwise remarkably unscathed from the shocking ordeal.
The new site TN reports that several witnessed rushed to help Aldo and called the emergency services.
An ambulance arrived and treated Aldo placing him in a neck brace as a precaution.
TN reports that Aldo told local media: “The bus knocked me down and then sucked me under. I managed to move myself to the middle and avoided getting crushed by the back wheel. Luckily the bus was not going too fast.”
He added: “The bus driver is actually a good mate of mine. He is a good guy and well known in Consulta.”
Aldo said that he underwent x-rays which revealed he had suffered an injury in the pelvic area and had extensive bruising on his legs.
“I have a lot of bruises on my legs but luckily I’ve recovered and now I have to continue taking pain medication.”
No further information was released regarding Aldo’s injuries.
It is not clear if the bus driver is being investigated.
