This is the moment an impatient mother is filmed grabbing her son by the arm and flinging him onto the floor of a lift.

The CCTV footage was taken inside a residential building in Longxu District, which is in Wuzhou City in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on 23rd September.

A resident who shared the footage online without wanting to be named said they inspected the security cameras after one of their parcels had gone missing.

The shocking footage showed the parent who not only allegedly accidentally took their box of delivered foods, but who also appeared to mistreat her son in the process.

The mother had reportedly taken her son downstairs to collect the parcel, and she can be seen walking into one lift together with another resident.

But the impatient parent is forced to leave the lift car when her son fails to follow her in time.

She throws the box of goods into the second lift and then appears to scold her son – who appears to be nursing an injury on his head – for being too slow.

The video shows the mother grabbing him by the arm and throwing him into the lift car, leaving the injured boy lying on the floor as the doors close and the footage ends.

The anonymous neighbour said they did not call the police and decided to share the footage online to expose the mum’s actions.

The neighbour said they later contacted the mum about their parcel.

The parent claimed she had mistakenly taken the wrong box, but already opened it and consumed everything edible inside.

Social media users have called the mother “shameless”, and are leading calls for Wuzhou police to investigate her for child abuse.

The authorities have not commented on the matter.
