This young man has had his new 175,000-GBP Lamborghini written off minutes after buying it after a cement truck crashed into it.
According to reports, Joshua Kaats and Sven Jansen, two young Dutchmen who work in retail, had bought a Ferrari and a Lamborghini in Velddriel, in the province of Gelderland.
They planned to have both cars customised in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, an hour’s drive from the dealership, local media report.

The pair were driving in Jansen’s Ferrari while their driver was behind the wheel of Kaats’ Lamborghini, which reportedly cost around 200,000 EUR (175,130 GBP)
Kaats said: “It didn’t go as planned. He hadn’t even left the street when a cement truck hit him.”
Reports say the truck driver completely ignored the sports car and Kaats said: “He didn’t notice anything and continued driving after the collision.
“We worked hard to get it and were looking forward to getting out and about, especially in this sunny weather”.
The young businessman is very disappointed but prefers not to overreact: “I could be worried, but it doesn’t make sense.
“In five years, it will be a good story to tell and that’s why we already prefer to laugh about it. I’m especially reassured that no one was hurt. Our driver, who was driving the Lamborghini, was very shocked. He saw death up close. Luckily, he escaped with just a fright.
“It is almost certain that it was the cement truck driver’s fault. Therefore, the damage will most likely be his fault.”
The pair, who help other entrepreneurs with their online businesses, are already thinking about buying a another Lamborghini: “We will rest now and sleep on it for a few nights, but there will be a new Lamborghini”.
