This footage shows firefighters being hard at work battling a flaming vehicle as it burns in the middle of the streets in Azerbaijan.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, along with a statement that said: “Emergency rescue operations were carried out by the relevant agencies of the Ministry in 18 cases of fire and seven cases of being helpless.

“In total, nine people, including three minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and 28 people, including nine children and nine elderly people, were evacuated to a safe area during the fire.”

The footage shows just one of the 18 cases the fire brigade had to deal with on 11th November, as rescuers douse the burning vehicle with huge amounts of water.

No injuries have been reported.
