This is the moment a married police lieutenant enjoys a lap dance from a new recruit in a New York bar, prompting an internal investigation.

The video was filmed in Rory Dolan’s Restaurant & Bar in the city of Yonkers in the US state of New York on 19th December, and the footage was widely shared on social media, sparking a police probe into the incident.

The clip shows a young brunette in a miniskirt and black top twerking and writhing on top of a seated bald man in a rowdy bar.

Meanwhile, a small group of people stand around the pair and film with their phones, possibly colleagues enjoying a festive night out with the lieutenant and rookie cop.

The man in the clip has been identified as Nick McGarry, a married police lieutenant of the 44th Precinct, according to local media.

The woman’s name and age were not reported. However, according to local media reports, she is a new recruit on the force.

A police source told the New York Post that “[the recruit] doesn’t know any better because she just came on the job”, adding that McGarry knew he made a mistake and apologised for the incident.

However, McGarry has reportedly been transferred to Transit District 12 in light of the video and the ongoing internal investigation into his conduct.

According to local media reports, he is a married man who lives with his wife in New York’s northern suburbs.
