This stunning model and reality star has claimed that using eyelash-growth cream could leave her blind for life in one eye.

Gorgeous model Laura Gonzalez, 24, found fame on the Colombian reality show ‘Protagonistas de Novelas’ where contestants battle for a place on a Telemundo soap opera to fulfil their dream of becoming a star actor.

After buying eyelash-growth cream from a high street shop, Gonzalez said that she started to experience eye problems the following day.

In a social media post for her 365,000 followers, the toned model said she woke up the next morning with poor visibility and discomfort in her left eye.

She claimed she went to the hospital several hours later where doctors told her she could possibly lose sight in the affected eye.

The eyelash cream she used reportedly affected her cornea and doctors prescribed a month-long treatment in a last-ditch effort to save the eye.

Gonzalez posted photos of her wearing an eye patch and said that she has to keep it on for at least another fortnight.

She warned her followers not to use creams or medicines without seeking medical advice first, adding: “It is the worst thing you could do.”
