This footage shows a homeless man with mobility problems who was reportedly left alone in a hospital corridor without food or water for three days.
The incident took place in the city of Georgiyevsk in the south-western Russian region of Stavropol Krai after the unnamed homeless man went to the hospital with a broken collarbone and mobility problems.
However, hospital staff are accused of leaving him in the corridor for three days without food or water while waiting to be seen by a doctor.
The netizen who filmed the homeless man in the corridor said on social media: “He shouted that he wanted water and to use the toilet, but no one paid him any attention.
“In the end, he was three days without food or water! Finally, today after a scandal broke, they treated him.”
Local media said the homeless man went to the hospital with a broken collarbone and mobility problems in his legs.
However, some residents claimed the elderly man was drunk while the hospital said that they do not normally treat people under the influence of alcohol unless it is an emergency situation.
The homeless man is currently being treated in a ward, although the hospital is yet to confirm what condition or injuries the patient is suffering from, according to reports.
Netizen ‘SofiaOganesian’ wrote: “Where were his relatives while he stayed in the corridor for three days shouting for water and assistance?”
