Homeless Man Filmed Biting Chunks From Stolen Pet Cat While Walking Down Street

This is the shocking moment a homeless man is seen biting chunks from a stolen pet cat while walking down the street in broad daylight.

The gruesome images were captured on CCTV in the borough of Azcapotzalco in the Mexican capital Mexico City on the morning of Monday, 7th March.

According to local residents, the man, who some believe is homeless, steals the pets from their owners, kills them, skins them and eats them raw.

According to reports, he has already been reported to the authorities, with the first such complaint being filed last year.

However, he had still not been found by the police at the time of writing.

The seconds-long footage shows how the unidentified man walks down the street with the cat in his hands and then begins to bite chunks out of it in view of others.

The neighbourhoods of San Antonio, Jardin Campo Verde and Tezozomoc, where the man is often spotted, have reportedly seen increased reports of missing pets.

On one occasion, the man was reportedly spotted eating a raw chicken.

Norma Huerta of Mundo Patitas, an animal protection association, has told local media she believes the man is not, in fact, a vagrant but a street musician.

Local pet owners have reportedly been advising each other to remain vigilant until law enforcement finally catches the man.

If caught, he could face penalties of six months to two years in prison plus a fine for animal cruelty or two to four years in jail for causing the death of an animal.
