This is the “miracle” moment a six-year-old girl stands up and walks away after falling 26 storeys from a high-rise building while home alone.

The CCTV footage dated 2nd April shows the side of the high-rise tower block within the Mini Gongguan Residential District in China’s south-western Chongqing Municipality

The six-year-old girl can be seen plunging down the side of the building, with another camera showing her having crashed through a car park’s fibreglass awning.

The child wearing red is not only alive after the fall, she can be seen moving around under the broken plastic too.

The girl reportedly stood up and walked away after the incident, with witnesses and later her family members taking her to hospital.

She is said to have broken her right hand during the fall but suffered no other life-threatening injuries.

According to reports, the girl had been left sleeping at home, and her guardians went out and locked her in.

When she woke up and could not find her family, she panicked and tried climbing out a window, resulting in the fall.

The incident is still being investigated.
